John 10:10

As summer slowly but surely slips into fall, there are still a few beauties in the garden 

tenaciously clinging to life.

The less hardy have given up and given in...to the cold nights, to the rot that comes from too much rain,

to the destructiveness of hundreds of tiny creatures fighting for survival as well. 

And I wonder...

what am I giving in to...giving up to?
